About IVAM Research

IVAM Research is the economic research division of IVAM GmbH. IVAM Research has been conducting surveys and collecting statistics in the fields microtechnology, nanotechnology and new materials since 2004.

Among others, IVAM Research conducts surveys and interviews on behalf of economic promotion organizations, ministries and trade associations like the IVAM Microtechnology Network. The topics include high-tech clusters, entrepreneurship, labor organization, or technology marketing.


People

Dr. Uwe Kleinkes Managing Director

Dr. Uwe Kleinkes has studied chemistry at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and the University of Sussex. He earned his PhD with a dissertation on model compounds for cancer therapy. He worked in the marketing divisions of the Institut für Mikrotechnik Mainz and Akademisches Förderungswerk Bochum and as a journalist for press and radio. Uwe Kleinkes has joined IVAM in 2000, became managing director of IVAM GmbH in 2001, and has established the business division IVAM Research.

Iris Lehmann, M.A. Project Manager

Iris Lehmann has studied economic geography, English and Dutch philology at the Westfälische-Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Having earned her master degree she worked as a copy writer in an advertising agency. In 1999, she became press and public relations officer of the IVAM Microtechnology Network. Since 2004, Iris Lehmann has been collecting and evaluating economic data for IVAM Research.
